Four taps. Then each amount in the batch gets a name.
One batch can hold several amounts.

How one mixed batch gets names
- Bring one mixed batchA single card deposit is enough to see which amounts share it.
- Give every amount a nameOpened color, a shelf sale, a tip, and rent for the room each land in their own place.
- Read a month that closedThe return uses months where those names already hold. A later month is its own close.
Names for the batch, not a new shop
The check names what one deposit mixed: a service, a bottle opened for that service, a bottle sold intact, a tip, or rent the business received. It does not rebuild a year of tickets on the call.
Payday stays on a full-service provider you already run. We can set that provider up beside the books. We do not process pay. An audit or a review belongs with a licensed CPA firm.

Is product used at the bowl a sale?
No. Product opened for the service is used up while the client is there. It is a cost. A bottle carried off the shelf is a sale of goods. Matching brands do not merge the two events.
Is rent for a room the same as a service?
Rent the business received is still income, and it is a different kind. A person paying for space is not buying the service you performed. That payment, by itself, does not decide whether the person is an employee.
Where do employee tips belong?
An employee who receives twenty dollars or more in tips during a month reports them to the employer on the tenth day of the following month. The report belongs on the wage record. Leaving the tip inside sales and also recording it as wages counts it twice. Form 8846 is aimed at food and beverage employers, not a service tip.
Will you run payday while the books are cleaned up?
No. A provider you choose runs payday. We set the books up so they can agree with that provider. The pay action stays with you.
