Six blank rows for service, retail, tips, rent, the processor fee, and the deposit

Beauty and Wellness Business Books Cleanup The shape, with every dollar left off

The owner set a blank week on the counter and asked which row the tip belongs on. Six rows. No totals. Fill them from the week you actually ran.

The rows we are willing to draw

Service, for the work you performed. Retail, for goods that left intact. Tips, kept out of sales when they are not sales. Rent received, for space someone paid you for. The processor fee, whole unless the report splits it. The deposit, which should equal the first five after the fee comes out, once each row is real. If a row is unknown, it stays blank. A blank is more honest than a borrowed number.

No client is described here. No batch total is printed. A sketch that only works next to one state sales-tax form is left off this page. The six rows still help where service and retail are taxed the same way, because margin and tax are different questions.

How to use the sketch on a call

Bring one week and sit it on these rows. If two rows have to share a cell, the month is not ready to close. We will say which cell and what paper would split it. We will not fill a cell to be helpful.

The fee row is the one people skip, then wonder why the bank is short. Read the card fee before you erase that row and call the difference a mystery.
